$UID  –  Real User ID

$UID contains the numeric real user ID of the current user.

With the sufficient permissions, a change to this variable will change the real user ID of the shell process. Use a subshell to launch a command with a different effective user ID: (UID=0; command).

BashSupport Pro is a Zsh IDE with support for $UIDtry it now!
